MARTIAL ARTS INSTRUCTORS

TESTIMONIALS FOR MRS. PEZZONI

"I have known Sara Pezzoni since 2012 and have found her to be an excellent student with good character, and also having a great work ethic.  She has demonstrated quality leadership and exceptional Taekwondo skills over the years.  Her personal credibility and trustworthiness, allowed me the privilege to leave Mid-California Tae Kwon Do in her capable hands, as I moved out of state for retirement.  I am honored to know her and her family.  I know that she will be used of the Lord to carry on the program."
7th Degree Master, Dr. Dennis McCain, Founder of Mid-California Tae Kwon Do and The Christian Taekwondo Fellowship.

TESTIMONIALS FOR MASTER MCCAIN

Grand Master S. McNeely Ninth Degree Black Belt Chairman, United States Taekwon-Do Foundation: I recently visited the Mid California Taekwon-Do center and participated in a variety of events. With an extensive background in martial arts for over 38 years and being a concerned parent I can give you a sincere review that is not only positive but also endorsing. I found the staff and facility to be very professional. As a parent I would enroll my children within this school for their physical and character development. The friendly attitude is well balanced with a solid understanding of teaching the principals of traditional Taekwon-Do. In addition, Dr. McCain has a serious background in law enforcement that brings a reality based street presence to his self-defense training. But I think the best part of being a student there is how they make you feel good about your training and the relationships that go with it. Keep up the good work and thank you for allowing me to visit.

My name is Brad Whitlow and I am an 8th Degree Black Belt in the art of Taekwondo. I have known Dr. McCain for 30 years & Mrs. Schwartz for over 24 years, and visited their school many times to instruct seminars. I have always been impressed with their level of professionalism and their genuine kindness. They work diligently with each student to help him or her reach their full potential. I have had the opportunity to visit hundreds of schools all over the world and I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for exemplary instruction and leadership skills that are priceless in this world today.  I have known and worked with Dennis McCain for many years.  I have also worked with thousands of students and instructors, and I feel Dennis is a very professional, disciplined, but friendly instructor.  From a technical point of view, he is very skilled and knowledgeable about the martial arts.  Master Brad Whitlow, 8th Degree Black Belt, United States Taekwondo Foundation, Murfreesboro, TN

Ms. Schwartz: Contrary to the supposed definition of discipline, it is not punishment, but the instilling of work ethic and habit of perseverance. This discipline is most effectively cultivated in a person by the encouragement of patient reminders and recognized achievement. The instructors at Mid-California Tae Kwon Do see each student as a unique personality with different abilities, and help each one at his own pace to reach his potential. But you should see them all moving together as one class! The martial arts experience of the chief instructor Dr. McCain spans four decades, including practical application as a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy. The hand-to-hand combat sequences are eye-openers. Dr. McCain has taught in the San Joaquin Valley continuously for the last 23 years. It is this commitment to Taekwondo students, their families and the program that has made Mid-California Taekwondo a solid establishment. My youngster earned his black belt from Mid-California Tae Kwon Do in 1994. As a Marine Platoon Sergeant in the 21st century he used his Taekwondo training in teaching hand-to-hand combat to his men. This is of value, certainly, but the real value is that the ability to fight and defend oneself is balanced by an attitude of compassion and caring one for another. That is the environment created by the instructor.

Grand Master Robert Hardin: "I have known and worked with Dr. Dennis McCain through his involvement  in Taekwondo for 30 years.  I have always had the utmost respect for his high integrity, character and leadership qualities...I am pleased to recommend his skills to you..."
Grand Master Robert Hardin, 9th Degree Black Belt,
National Director and founder of the Choong Sil Taekwondo Federation

"...I would like to say that Dennis McCain has become a very close friend of mine and a major asset to the school..." Master Louie Aregis, Jr., 7th Degree Black Belt, Nashville, TN
