Chool Bal (Spiritual Beginning Pattern)
White Belt Section - The ready position for the pattern is a parallel ready
stance with both open palms facing upward at chest level (The Ready To Receive
Position). All punches are parallel.

1. Right foot steps back to left front stance, left low block.
2. Left foot steps back to right front stance, right high block.
3. Left foot steps forward to middle stance, left knife hand strike
4. Left foot shifts to left front stance, right punch
5. Left foot steps together, right foot steps right to middle stance, right
knife hand strike.
6. Right foot shifts to right front stance, left punch.

7. Right foot steps to a right “L” stance, right middle block.
8. Right foot shifts to right front stance, left punch.
9. Double step to left “L” stance, left middle block
10 Shift left foot to left front stance, right punch

12. Right foot steps together to closed stance, double guarding blocks toward
the left, left side kick
13. Left knife hand strike.
